Why Reclaim Your Indigenous Name

Updated: Apr 8, 2022

More and more each day I receive request from the Aboriginal community to reclaim their Indigenous name. My professional opinion is that it is essential to building a proper family unit and lineage. An Indigenous Name based on your birth chart and indigenous Xi Cosmology attributes will offer you the opportunity to carry the energetic influence of your ancestors in your daily life as well as imprinting this influence across your lineage aiding in the socio political autonomy of our people.

Shakespeare ask the question "What's in name?" The power of a name is worth its weight is gold. As you may know when the Indegeous people of the Americas first came into contact with eur-asiasn people we had our own language and writing and through ads rendered names that we called ourselves we didn't wait for invaders to come and name us.

In a cursory study of history outside of what is taught in the public school system, one will find Pre-Columbian civilizations that inhabited Meso-america known as the ‘Olmec’, or Olmec-Mayan civilizations. A more careful study of history reveals that these names (Olmec and Mayan) are misnomers, as these tribes did not call themselves Olmecs or Mayans (Maya was a name for the lower-land, not the people on it).

"These people self-identified as the Xi or Xi-Amaru, Tutul-Xi (Image of Xi), and are the pyramid and mound building civilizations of the Americas. They are in fact many eons older than most researchers have documented them as being." (Muhammad A. , Origin of the Aztec a Foreign People Who Originated in Caves).

And We sent down iron in which there lies great might and which has many uses for mankind…” (Qur'aan, Suurah 57 Ayah 25)

The elements formed the planets in our solar system based on a intelligent design, and further make up the natural organisms inhabiting them. We human beings are literally made of stardust. With this understanding, we realize, our local planets and stars are our ancestors, literally. The ancestors represented by the thirteen (13) figures in the Ahau table (misnomered Mayan Calendar) are the thirteen celestial orbs that influence psychology on earth. These are: The Sun, our Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and Sirius A, B, and C. These are our brightest ancestors according to the Xi, along with the elemental ancestors making up these orbs and organisms.

The United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous People:

Article 1 Indigenous peoples have the right to the full enjoyment, as a collective or as individuals, of all human rights and fundamental freedoms as recognized in the Charter of the United Nations, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights4 and in- ternational human rights law.

Article 1 Indigenous peoples have the right to the full en- joyment, as a collective or as individuals, of all human rights and fundamental freedoms as recognized in the Charter of the United Nations, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and international human rights law. Article 2 Indigenous peoples and individuals are free and equal to all other peoples and individuals and have the right to be free from any kind of discrimination, in the exercise of their rights, in particular that based on their indigenous origin or identity. Article 3 Indigenous peoples have the right to self determination. By virtue of that right they freely determine their political status and freely pursue their economic, social and cultural development.

So my final answer to the Why, for this blog is because you have the right and obligations to do so.
